I was commissioned by Studio Ugly to create an artwork for the monthly leaflet of White Noise. White Noise is a bar and club space in Stuttgart (GER) focussing on electronic music. Each month they release a leaflet which is also a foldable poster to give away to visitors.
The briefing was to illustrate impressions of the nightlife. I thought about the feeling of anonymity and keeping up the facade to fit in a group. When one causes embarrassment to themselves, thus lowering their social status, they 'lose face'.
